Mid-Cumberland Child Care Resource and Referral

The Mid-Cumberland Child Care Resource and Referral office provides Montgomery County and 8 other middle Tennessee counties with referrals for child care and also information and resources for parents. They educate parents on quality child care and how to interpret the Star Quality Ratings each child care provider receives.

They are our local Child Care Aware and NACCRRA office.

All of their services are free to all families.

Child Care Aware

Child Care Resource and Referral organizations provide parents with many services, including referrals to local child care providers and education about childcare. The Mid-Cumberland Child Care Resource and Referral office is our local Child Care Aware Office.

NACCRRA

NACCRRA, which stands for the National Association of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies, is our nation’s leading voice for child care. They work with more than 800 state and local Child Care Resource & Referral agencies to ensure that families in every local community have access to high-quality, affordable child care. To achieve their mission, they lead projects that increase the quality and availability of child care, offer comprehensive training to child care professionals, undertake groundbreaking research, and advocate child care policies that positively impact the lives of children and families.
