April 15, 2007 - Queen City Road Race
Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department

5K Run & 1 Mile Fun Run, Walk, or Roll! All races begin outside of Governor's Stadium on the campus of Austin Peay State University. You will receive a course map with your race packet and routes will be clearly marked for each race.

Race day registration & Packet Pickup is inside the concession area on the east side of the stadium starting at 11:00 am on April 15th.

Entry Fees: 5K Races $12.00 per individual, Pre-Registration by March 30. Late entry fee is $15.00 per individual after March 30th through race day. 1 Mile Events - $5.00 per individual. Fees include a race t-shirt and certificate while supplies last. Wheelchair divisions same prices as above.

5K Age Divisions:
Male: 10 & Under, 11-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+
Female: 10&Under, 11-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-54, 55+

Awards will be given for 5K overall winners, male and female. Top 3 finishers in each age division of the 5k race. 5K & One mile wheelchair divisions and School participation rewards.

April 19-21, 2007 Rivers and Spires

Free live music, arts and crafts from local artists, fun activities for children of all ages, and unique celebrations from all cultures - on the streets of historic downtown Clarksville, Tennessee. There will be a wide variety of events for adults and children celebrating our city and honoring our heroes.

Join kids of all ages and experience Clarksville's dynamic downtown family event. Kids can enjoy many interactive areas where they can climb walls, paint, create, or participate in entertainment of all types. Travel through our Inflatable jungle, or stop at creation station..... The KIDZ ZONE is a place where all that is required is a smile and some giggles that can travel through the crowd.

September 7-9, 2007 - 20th Annual Riverfest Celebration

Clarksville will celebrate its cultural diversity in original art, music, and dance at McGregor Park RiverWalk next September.

The Clarksville Riverfest Celebration and Showcase is one of the largest celebrations in the community featuring National, Regional and local talent.

Festival patrons come from around the state to visit Clarksville and see some of the most celebrated talent in the area, feast on specialty foods and enjoy a series of concerts ranging from Country to Rock and R&B to Hip Hop.

Cumberland Bank & Trust Kids Zone

Inflatable rides like the Giant Slide, the Seaweed Serpent, Ball Bounce Pit, Obstacle Course, and Happy Face Bounce will keep your little ones entertained for hours, or even for a quick distraction in between your favorite performers. Armbands are $3 per child and are good for the entire day.

Teens will love the challenge of the Rock Wall, Super Slide, and the Gladiator Joust. Teen Inflatables cost $1-$5 per turn.

Script Tickets required for the kids and teen inflatables.

Youth Villages Creation Station –Let your child explore her creative side with free arts and craft activities offered by AmSouth Bank from 12:30-3:30 pm in the Kids Zone

No alcoholic beverages are permitted in the Cumberland Bank & Trust Kids Zone.
